Summary of Case and Settlement: Cafferty Faucher LLP was appointed by the United States District Court for the District of Colorado to serve as Class Counsel on behalf of small businesses and consultants who paid large sums of money to online business service company eWork Markets / ProSavvy in exchange for the opportunity to bid on project leads. Cafferty Faucher LLP prosecuted the alleged violations under the Colorado law, including the Colorado Consumer Protection Act. During the course of the litigation, and following extensive discovery, the company ceased business operations and agreed to settle with the Class.
